Teams discover the meaning of the language of wine, the tricks of tasting and the noble art of blending. After an introduction to the 'world of wine' the teams are introduced to the wine challenge itself, which will cover a wide spectrum of top class and lesser-known wines. The winning team is rewarded with a guide to wine, and the "overall champion of wine" for the evening will be awarded an appropriate prize for the most invigorating (not necessarily the most expert) approach to wine tasting. A perfect accompaniment to a civilised dinner, this rousing wine-tasting challenge will engender a competitive spirit and at the same time create a suitably mellow atmosphere.
"The most frequent comment we've had is that it was the best awayday ever - and that's even coming from our partners who've a) been on hundreds of these days and b) regularly have them in Marbella or Nice! So it must have been something quite special."
